**National Food and Beverage Summit 2019 to take place in Carrickmacross **

Amatino, the Irish professional services firm, will host its annual Food and Beverage Summit at the Nuremore Hotel, Carrickmacross on Friday 25th January 2019.

The summit will be opened by Minister Heather Humphries, Minister for Business, Enterprise and Innovation. Over 100 food and beverage companies from around the country are expected to attend the event at which the critical issues currently impacting the sector such as Brexit, access to state supports and attracting and retaining staff will be discussed.

The event will bring together expert speakers and exhibitors, so that attendees can learn about best practice, grants, finance and case studies and the practical supports available that have helped 1000s of food businesses to date, navigate a successful expansion. There will also be an opportunity for networking on the day at the expo space with exhibitors from organisations who can provide support for attendees.

Barry Kieran, Managing Partner at Amatino said, “At Amatino we have been providing financial advice to businesses within the food sector for years and we know exactly how challenging it can be given the current economic climate and uncertainties. But there is help available that some businesses may be unaware of. The purpose of this event is to provide information on the support available and how to access it and make the most out of it for business. The topics that will be discussed at the event will be diverse and very relevant to today’s business environment. The food sector in Ireland has been at the centre of some challenging times from Brexit to International trade uncertainty. However, it is also one of the most supported sectors with a range of grants, state aid finance and practical insights and supports. Yet, sometimes it can be challenging for food businesses to navigate the range of qualifying criteria for the various supports that are available, or they are completely unaware of the assistance available. At this event we will be setting for business out how to navigate the path to some of those supports.”

Speakers at the event will include: · Heather Humphries – Minister for Business, Enterprise and Innovation · Grace Binchy - Consumer Insight Specialist, Bord Bia · Rob Hernan - Head of Food LEAN , Enterprise Ireland · Nick Ashmore - CEO, Strategic Banking Corporation of Ireland (SBCI) · John Daly - Operations Director, Pembroke Alliance · Barry Kieran – Managing Partner, Amatino · Jimmy McLoughlin - Co Founder, Rosie & Jim Chicken
