Role

Reporting directly to a Partner, and responsible for the management of a small team, you will get the opportunity to work directly with a varied range of assignments, across a broad range of clients. The role is fast-paced and busy. It will involve everything from accounts production, tax planning, and dealing with ad-hoc client queries, to meeting with clients to discuss their tax liabilities.

Role Requirements
  • Qualified CPA/ACA/ACCA
  • Minimum 12 months PQE
  • Experience in trainee development and team management
  • Experience in the preparation of accounts to review stage
  • Knowledge and understanding of tax compliance
  • Tax advice and return preparation
  • Client facing experience with a strong customer service ethic and an ability to develop and maintain professional relationships
Personality
  • Recent accountancy practice experience
  • Commitment to working in a deadline driven environment, with the ability to prioritise workflow and manage budgets
  • Leadership qualities
  • Excellent time management
  • A team player with initiative, and a sense of responsibility towards your work and your colleagues
  • Excellent computer skills and understanding of accounting/ practice software
  • Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
